Team Leads:
Dr. Christine Carmine earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from the University of New Hampshire and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. She relocated to the Wilmington area after graduating from veterinary school over 20 years ago and has been practicing locally ever since.
Dr. Carmine is Fear Free and Human-Animal Bond Certified and is committed to offering compassionate care to her patients and their families. She is excited to be starting a local chapter of The Street Dog Coalition and looks forward to making a positive impact on the lives of both pets and people in the Wilmington area. Dr. Carmine shares a home with her husband, Jay, and their beloved "fuzzy-faced" kids.
Christine Carmine, DVM
Dr. Rhonda Greene earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a minor in Genetics from North Carolina State University in 1992. She then went on to graduate from the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Throughout her career, Dr. Greene has practiced small animal medicine and surgery and has also contributed to public health initiatives within the agricultural sector. Beyond her professional work, Dr. Greene is passionate about giving back to the community. She volunteers with organizations that support the homeless, offering medical care to their pets. A firm believer in the human-animal bond, she is dedicated to the positive influence animals have on the lives of people.
