From our street clinics to our Board of Directors, The Street Dog Coalition relies on volunteers nationwide who give their time and talent to our mission. Kathy Makolinski, DVM
Chairperson

Kathy Makolinski, DVM is from Western NY and is the Team Lead for The Street Dog Coalition's Buffalo chapter. She looks forward to collaborating with a human service provider in a One Health approach to street medicine. "I feel fortunate to provide veterinary care to animals at such clinics in order to keep them healthy and with their people."

Andrea Romano
Vice Chairperson

Andrea Romano graduated with a degree in biology and is a business woman by trade, and an animal advocate by heart. Raised by the quintessential ‘crazy cat lady’, her mother instilled in her a love for all animals. Her house was always filled with strays who were cared for until a suitable fur ever home was found. She is a huge fan of The Street Dog Coalition and looks forward to her role as Co-Team Lead with Dr. Hilary Wheeler and her role as Vice Chairperson on SDC’s Board of Directors.

Lisa Cummins Dulchinos
Treasurer

Lisa Cummins Dulchinos is a Business Economics alumni of UCSB (undergrad) and St Mary's College (MBA) in Moraga. She is a lover of animals and has always had them in her life. From the two vizslas that ran many miles with her to her guide dog Bella that was "repurposed" and Lily her retriever that needs lots of extra love. When she isn't taking her dogs for walks she is taking care of two cats and five kids from her blended family. Caring for animals is a passion of hers and she couldn't be more excited to join SDC’s Board.

Stacey Evans, JD Secretary

Stacey Evans, JD is the VP General Counsel of ElleVet Sciences. She has a passion for developing strategies that result in access to veterinary products and care. Louis Luigi, Stacey’s first dog she had as an adult, inspired this passion. Stacey currently has Rudi and Yeong-Mi, two energetic and mischievous Alaskan Malamute dogs she adopted following Louis Luigi’s passing. For over a decade, Stacey brought her passion for access to veterinary products and care through leadership of organizations including the U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Animal Health, and she is excited to share her skills to help The Street Dog Coalition.

Michelle Dally, DVM
Director

Michelle Dally, DVM is a mixed-animal veterinarian who ran her mobile practice for 6.5 years in rural western CO. She is accredited as a veterinary medical acupuncturist and fear free handler. She moved to Florida in 2020 and started a SDC Team. Before entering vet school at 44, she was a lawyer, and served as a Senate legislative aide and later, a political journalist. She shared in a Pulitzer prize in 2000 for coverage of the Columbine Massacre and published a novel titled “A Highly Placed Source” in 2006. She and her husband raised 4 boys in a blended family in a fairly- messy house full of adopted and foster dogs.

Leslie Woollenweber Director

Leslie Woollenweber, MBA, has 17 years of nonprofit experience, including roles in development, program management and community engagement. She currently works with Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado as their as the Development Director. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, Leslie spent 10+ years in the biotech industry with roles in drug discovery, product management, P.R. and business development. Leslie’s nonprofit experience includes human services, conservation, humanitarian aid and outdoor recreation. She is excited to bring her dedication to keeping loved pets with their families to SDC’s Board.

Rachael Brown, Esq. Director

Rachael Brown spends her days advising companies on the complexities of California employment law. She spends her free time taking her boxers to the park, hiking and spending time outdoors, reading, playing volleyball, and stopping to pet all the dogs she encounters out and about. After growing up in the Seattle area, Rachael attended both undergrad and law school at Santa Clara University and is thrilled to call the SF Bay Area home. Rachael looks forward to joining the SDC Board and supporting a mission close to her heart.

Doug McInnis, DVM Director

Dr. McInnis is the VP of Veterinary Leadership with Western Veterinary Partners, one of SDC’s Legacy Sponsors. He grew up with animals on their small family farm; it was there that he discovered a love for helping animals and decided to pursue a veterinary career. He is dedicated to his profession and often fosters that dedication for high school students and the youth interested in the veterinary field. He has served on many boards, including in the role of President, and he is excited to bring his passion for veterinary medicine and philanthropy to assist The Street Dog Coalition in its mission and vision. 

Sandrine Chaumette

Sandrine Chaumette is from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She currently live in Los Gatos and will soon relocate to Nevada City, California. She is a mom, animal lover and believer in social justice.  She enjoy hands-on volunteer opportunities and working with local organizations. She is a graduate of U.C. Davis and Cornell University and spent the early part of her career working for high tech giants, before transitioning to full-time motherhood. Now that her children are grown, she works with the Los Gatos Anti-Racism to address homelessness and housing insecurity. As Albert Einstein loved to say, “I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.” That sentence describes Sandrine to a “T”. She loves to learn and enjoys asking questions, meeting new people and exploring.

Tom Hudson

Tom Hudson brings a unique blend of financial expertise and a deep love for animals to the SDC board. As a CFA charter holder, Tom offers strong financial acumen, honed through years of experience. However, his true passion lies in the enduring connection between people and their pets.

From rescuing dogs in Central Park to welcoming strays and adopting senior pups, Tom's home has become a haven for dogs of all ages and backgrounds. Tom is excited to work on SDC’s mission to provide free preventative veterinary care to pets of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
