One Health Mobile Outreach

Nearly 20% of indigent and unhoused Americans live in rural areas. Therefore, we have developed a One Health Mobile Outreach program to provide community-centered healthcare services to at-risk people and pets living in rural areas. Since 2021 we have traveled to rural parts of Colorado and nicknamed the program COHMO. In 2024, ElleVet Project donated their “ElleVan” RV to SDC to help extend our reach to communities that have little to no access to veterinary care facilities.
