Lauren Dinsmore, DVM

Small animal veterinarian serving southeast MN for the past 12 years. Hoping to fill the need for veterinary services for the pets of people at risk of or experiencing homelessness in SE Minnesota. Started running our own independent free care clinics with a local day shelter and found The Street Dog Coalition on VIN and are proud to partner with them to reach and serve more of the community. Keeping active outside of work with two sons, one golden retriever and two rescue cats.

Jason Dinsmore

I am excited to be a part of the Street Dog Coalition as a co-lead in Rochester, MN with my partner and wife, Dr. Lauren Dinsmore. Animals have always been an important part of my life, as companions, partners in the field, and as fellow travelers in our world. Gandhi said it best when he described how the “true measure of (our) society can be found in how (we) treat (our) most vulnerable members.” I am grateful for the program that Street Dog Coalition has built to aid both our two- and four-legged friends that may be struggling, and I am ready to do my part to help. During the day, I apply my background as a wildlife biologist and licensed attorney, representing not-for-profits in the Great Lakes region for the National Wildlife Federation as their Director of Conservation Partnerships.
