Team Leads:

Bridget Hanley, DVM

Dr. Bridget Hanley is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and practiced small animal medicine for 15 years before joining Merck Animal Health as a veterinarian in their Drug Safety department.  She learned about The Street Dog Coalition (SDC) in 2019 at the AVMA convention in Washington, D.C., where she volunteered at a clinic and heard Dr. Geller speak. Since that time, she’s joined the Philadelphia team, in hopes of helping as many people and pets as possible.  She finds SDC’s mission and work extremely important because everyone deserves to have the love and companionship of a healthy pet!

Alison Whiter, DVM

Dr. Alison Whiter teaches in a Veterinary Nursing Program at Harcum College and practices small animal urgent care medicine at Art City Vets in Philadelphia. She was involved in Philly homeless outreach and knew there was a need to help the pets but wasn't sure where to start. In 2017 she read an article about The Street Dog Coalition and immediately called Dr. Geller. She loves working with SDC volunteers because they are the most compassionate, warm-hearted people. And she loves how truly appreciative the owners are when their pets are provided the care and attention they deserve.
