Team Leads:

Justin Lamb, DVM

Dr. Justin Lamb is a graduate of Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing in NYC since 2012. After graduation, Dr. Lamb completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine & surgery at The Animal Medical Center in Manhattan, followed by a specialty internship in Emergency & Critical Care Medicine back at Tufts. As an ethical vegan for over 20 years, Dr. Lamb has a deep understanding of the importance of the human-animal bond and harnesses those values in his practice of veterinary medicine. Dr. Lamb first met Jon Geller at a veterinary conference in San Diego in 2018. Immediately impressed with Dr. Geller's presentation on how to help break down the barriers to accessing veterinary care in underserved communities, Dr. Lamb reached out to the team at Street Dog Coalition and set up NYC's first One Health Street Clinic in 2019. Dr. Lamb continues to partner with The Street Dog Coalition and other human and animal non-profit organizations here in NYC.

Biana Tamini, DVM

Dr. Biana Tamimi has been passionate about expanding access to veterinary care since she started practicing in 2017. As a vet student she founded a free student-run veterinary clinic for the pets of those that are vulnerably housed in Edinburgh. She is most excited about how shelter medicine extends beyond the walls of the shelter to promote and protect the human-animal bond in our communities. Outside of her shelter medicine residency at the ASPCA, she is thrilled to work with Street Dog Coalition and apply a One Health approach to even better serve pet owners and animals in New York city.

Max Vizelberg, DVM

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Vizelberg has been cultivating his interest in veterinary medicine since a young age. From being read Russian children’s stories about “Doctor Aybolit” by his grandmother to interning at the Israeli Wildlife Hospital to practicing at small animal clinics, he has thoroughly enjoyed learning about and sharing his joy of animals with others over the years. He attended veterinary school at Tufts University. When not caring for his patients (in the clinic, in the home setting, or on the streets), he can be found rapping at open mics, playing soccer and basketball, and going on hikes with family and friends.
