Team Leads:
Stephanie Freed, DVM
Dr. Freed is a Montgomery County native. She received her DVM from UC Davis in 2016. During school she participated with various organizations providing veterinary care to underserved populations. She is excited to be back in her hometown providing the same much needed care to individuals in her community. Currently she operates a mobile veterinary service focusing on senior pet and end of life care called Golden Years Vet. Weather helping to guide families through end of life with a pet or providing necessary preventative care to the beloved pets of the unhoused, her true passion lies in caring for 'both ends of the leash'.
Janet Fellows
Originally from NJ, Janet now resides in PA with her 2 children and 1 dog. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh with a degree in veterinary technology and has worked at various animal hospitals as a veterinary technician. While she explores other careers, she continues to remain involved in veterinary medicine, driven by her lifelong passion for helping animals. She is enthusiastic about serving her community alongside a team of inspiring, like-minded professionals, and is dedicated to making a positive impact on the human-animal bond by helping carry out SDC’s mission.
Bridget Hanley, DVM
Dr. Bridget Hanley is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and practiced small animal medicine for 15 years before joining Merck Animal Health as a veterinarian in their Drug Safety department. She learned about The Street Dog Coalition (SDC) in 2019 at the AVMA convention in Washington, D.C., where she volunteered at a clinic and heard Dr. Geller speak. Since that time, she’s joined the Philadelphia team, in hopes of helping as many people and pets as possible. She finds SDC’s mission and work extremely important because everyone deserves to have the love and companionship of a healthy pet!
