Dr. Lindsey Alman

Dr. Lindsey Alman graduated from the University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. During her studies in Scotland, she took the opportunity to travel the world, volunteering in places that had critical need for vaccinations and spay/neuter programs. Lindsey began her career as a veterinarian in Northern California, working with both small and large animals. While practicing in California, she volunteered much of her time helping pets of people experiencing homelessness and joined the California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps allowing her to assist in the treatment of animals displaced and burned during the Northern California wildfires. In June of 2022, Lindsey moved back to her original birthplace, Madison, Wisconsin. She is currently working relief at small animal hospitals in the Madison area. Lindsey is passionate about volunteer work and is particularly interested in educating clients and One Health. She lives in Madison with her husband, 2 daughters, 1 dog, 2 cats and 3 rabbits. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering and running ultramarathons. Lindsey is happy to have found The Street Dog Coalition and help with the monthly clinics in Madison.
