Our Ithaca Team works in unbridled collaboration to raise money for their local chapter of The Street Dog Coalition. To donate to their efforts to provide free veterinary care to pets of people experiencing homelessness in Ithaca, click here.

Catherine Cortright, DVM
Catherine is a Veterinary Internist who was inspired to help the homeless population by the work of her best friend, who started a medical practice in Ithaca focused on high risk populations. Through Dr. Waldman's outreach in the community, and inspired (pressured!) by her two young daughters to help local pet populations in need, the first Street Dog Ithaca clinic was held in the parking lot of Reach medical in 2018 and we've grown since! Dr. Cortright enjoys volunteering with Street Dog and spending time with her family when she is not working as an Internist at Colonial Animal Hospital.
