Team Leads:

Linda Kaplan, DVM

Linda graduated in 2023 from University of Arizona and works in both small animal emergency and primary care. She volunteered at her first Street Dog Coalition event and fell in love immediately, soon becoming involved with SDC in Lansing and Detroit. She’s looking forward to serving her community and bridging the gap between veterinary access and people experiencing homelessness with their pets.

Christie Donahue, DVM

Christie is a 2022 graduate of Michigan State University who works in a small animal practice near Ann Arbor. She volunteered at the first Michigan based Street Dog Coalition clinic in 2019 and stayed in touch with SDC in hopes of becoming a Team Lead after graduation. Christie also has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan and previously facilitated partnerships between university students and community based organizations around the world.
