Dr. Lauren Seal currently works as an associate veterinary for Banfield Pet Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She is also currently serving in the U.S. Army reserves with the 352nd Civil Affairs Command out of Fort Meade, Maryland. Dr. Seal just left active duty Military service after 12 years. During her military time, she was stationed in Vicenza, Italy; Fort Carson, Colorado; Saint Mary's, Georgia and Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Seal has been accompanied on her travel by her husband, Matt, and two daughters, Cara and Piper. During her military career, Dr. Seal provided animal care, public health, food protection and global health engagements to service members and their families. Dr. Seal completed both her MPH in 2010 and DVM in 2012 at Ohio State. Dr. Seal successfully joined the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine in July of 2017. Dr. Seal was proud to start The Street Dog Coalition Team in Colorado Springs in 2018 and lead that while stationed at Fort Carson. She is now excited to be on SDC’s Denver Team.
