Team Leads:

Travis Mansur, DVM

Dr. Travis Mansur is a lifelong resident of the Decatur area, even attending Millikin University for his undergraduate studies and then graduating from the University of Illinois with his doctor of veterinary medicine. He is passionate about giving back to his community. He has dedicated hundreds of hours spaying and neutering pets for reduced rates in Macon County. His favorite part of being a vet is surgery. He loves learning new procedures and techniques while sharpening his skills on more common procedures. He is excited to be a part of this wonderful coalition so he can help pets in need right here in Decatur.

Beth Tatum

Beth Tatum has worked in veterinary medicine since 1999 in a number of roles including kennel technician, receptionist and now hospital manager. What began as a passion for animals, has turned into a lifelong career. Beth is especially passionate about advocating for pitbulls. Her community shelter adopts out hundreds of "pitbull" type dogs yearly and having owned 3 of her own (all from shelters) she loves to educate the public about the loving nature of this breed and how they make wonderful family pets.
