Keeping human-animal families together is part of a wider struggle for a more just society. Join My Dog Is My Home as we hear from Dr. Jon Geller of The Street Dog Coalition Operation Ukraine and Jordyn Rozensky of Mascotas Para Migrantes, two organizations working to help keep human-animal families together during circumstances of forced migration. We will also be joined by Dr. Benjamin Thomas White of the University of Glasgow, who teaches and researches refugee history, including humans and animals in refugee camps. We hope to increase understanding of forced migration amongst human-animal families around the globe, raise awareness and support for organizations doing this work, and move closer towards our vision of equitable access to home for all people and all families.
