Our New River Valley, VA team will be offering free veterinary care for pets of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness on Wednesday, May 24 from 1-4pm at the Central Gym in Downtown Pulaski, VA. They will be accompanied by the NRV Health Department who will be providing NARCAN training and CPR kits. Pulaski Animal Shelter will fulfill the S/N vouchers for this location. Rabies vaccinations, parasite prevention, and an exam of minor medical problems are amongst the other veterinary services being offered. Dogs and cats welcome; dogs should be on leashes and cats in carriers. Thank you!
