Our New River Valley, VA team will be offering free veterinary care for pets of people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness on Wednesday, April 26 from 1pm to 4pm at Rescue Mission Ministries (402 4th St SE Roanoke, VA). They have teamed up with Rescue Mission to offer some additional services and collaborate with Harm Reduction as well as the local Roanoke City Health Department. Alongside them, they will have other community partners such as the Fralin Clinic and Angels of Assisi. Rabies vaccinations, parasite prevention, spay/neuter vouchers, and an exam of minor medical problems are amongst the veterinary services being offered.
