Our SDC team in Bakersfield, CA will be offering free veterinary care for pets of the homeless and near-homeless at Church Without Walls/The Showers from 10am to 12pm on the third Thursday of every month. Rabies vaccinations, spay/neuter vouchers, and an exam of minor medical problems are amongst the services being offered. Dogs and cats welcome. All dogs should be on leashes and cats in carriers.
