Cynthia Rogers, DVM
My name is Cindy! I am a life-long animal lover and Floridian. I studied at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2017. I worked several years in general practice but now work in shelter medicine at the Humane Society of Broward County. When I am not cuddling kittens- I can be found reading, gardening, baking or doing yoga. Rachel Oppenheimer, PsyD
I'm Rachel. In my former life, I was a psychologist practicing in Texas serving individuals with developmental disabilities. After experiencing personal tragedy, I “retired’ and moved home to heal, and returned to the site of my very first volunteer job, at the Humane Society of Broward County, this time as an associate in the Admissions department. I learned about The Street Dog Coalition through our fantastic veterinary team, and felt like it was the perfect fit for me to serve “both sides of the leash”. — Animal Admissions Associate, Humane Society of Broward County.
